Enterprise Sales Engineer - Public Sector - East

Overview

Enterprise Sales Engineer (Public Sector) responsible for technical pre-sales for strategic prospective public-sector customers. Works remotely within the US Eastern Time Zone and supports deals with complex solutions.

What you'll do

• Own the technical pre-sales cycle for large and strategic prospective customers.
• Work with Enterprise Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors in-region.
• Plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
• Match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions.
• Deploy and install hardware and installation for POCs.
• Set up SaaS dashboards and manage custom reporting and integrations via the API.
• Mentor other SEs and contribute through technical and industry knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• Minimum 8+ years of customer-facing pre-sales experience.
• At least 3+ years in enterprise sales.
• Deep understanding of APIs, security, cloud software, connected hardware, automation, networking, and control systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a maintenance/shop environment.
• Ability to sell complex solutions and navigate intricate customer evaluations and deployments.

Details

• Remote position open to candidates based in the US and living within the Eastern Time Zone in the OH/MO region.
• Requires frequent travel (50%), and close proximity to a major airport is highly preferred.
• Annual OTE salary range: $198,050–$233,000 USD.
