Enterprise Software Engineering Manager

Overview

Lead the design, development and deployment of medical device software and applications, using AI-driven test automation, automation frameworks, and tools for software, firmware and embedded hardware quality.

What you'll do

• Oversee development and design requirements for software systems and applications, including cloud-based or internet-related tools, and software quality assurance for enhancements and new products.
• Manage activities to ensure programs are appropriately resourced and drive continuous improvement in technical capability, process and compliance.
• Manage scope, cost and schedule within a cross-functional development team.
• Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function, including mentoring, coaching, performance reviews and 1:1s.
• Establish operational plans, implement policies and strategies, and manage a team of supervisors and/or experienced professionals.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree (or, for degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)).
• 17+ years of overall experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area.
• Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
