Overview
The Enterprise Solution Specialist III defines, researches, develops, tests, rolls out and supports business-system functionality in a primary module or functional area. The role supports documentation, continuous improvement, IT collaboration, training and systems including Microsoft software, Adobe Acrobat Professional, SAP, CIDEON, Azure and JDoc.
What you'll do
- Define, research, develop and test new functionality of business systems in the primary module or functional area.
- Participate in rollout and installation of new business systems.
- Devise sample data to test program accuracy.
- Maintain, develop, organize and communicate documentation for the responsible area to the global community.
- Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies.
- Identify applicable solutions and implement them with existing networks when appropriate.
- Work seamlessly with all IT Teams to ensure a high standard of IT support at all levels.
- Prepare and provide status updates for assigned project plans and schedules.
- Maintain positive relations with employees and encourage suggestions for improving IT systems.
- Recommend and conduct training.
- Organize verbal and written ideas clearly using appropriate business style.
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems, including modifying responsibilities, consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes, or re-engineering processes and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
- Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement.
- Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field”.
- Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to share best practices throughout the Jabil organization.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding internal Jabil and customer-specific data and proprietary information.
- Work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and as directed by the supervisor.
- Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you'll need
- Proficiency and knowledge in all areas related to IT department functions.
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
- Strong understanding of page formatting.
- Strong understanding of picture formatting.
- Knowledge of document properties and formulas.
- Ability to manipulate production documentation to support software version issues or high-priority tickets, including line-down situations.
- Adobe Acrobat Professional skills.
- Understanding of PDF files and their complexities.
- Ability to manipulate PDFs using Adobe.
- Understanding of modifying margins or page orientations.
- Strong understanding of SAP DIRs.
- Strong understanding of SAP DMS.
- Strong understanding of SAP tables, including joins.
- Configuration in SPRO for DIRs.
- Strong understanding of content servers.
- Strong understanding of CIDEON Conversion Control Center (CCC).
- Understanding of SAP system components.
- Configuration and testing of RFC and URL connections.
- Configuration of the CCC.
- Understanding of work packages.
- Strong understanding of CIDEON error logs and reprocessing of work packages.
- Azure server housekeeping.
- Building new servers.
- Maintaining the CIDEON Conversion Engine software.
- Understanding of CIDEON software configuration.
- Ability to manipulate Conversion Engine workflow.
- Software upgrading and testing for CIDEON and Microsoft.
- Strong understanding of CIDEON error logs.
- Strong understanding of JDoc frontend and backend.
- Strong understanding of the FileWatcher system.
- Understanding of JSON files.
- Understanding of SAP Notifications.
