Enterprise Technical Solutions Engineer

Overview

Enterprise Technical Solutions Engineer providing technical guidance throughout the sales process for enterprise opportunities.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with sales/presales to develop solution proposals aligned with customer requirements.
• Serve as a technical resource for presales topics including Smartsheet API, Premium Applications, and SSO/SAML.
• Respond to Solutions Engineer Requests (SERs) for complex opportunities such as API integrations and identity/access management.
• Build proof of concepts and create solution diagrams for proposed technical architecture and requirements.
• Provide expertise on capabilities and limitations of Smartsheet products with other tools.
• Assist with technical questions for customer RFPs and seek new integrations/solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or relevant role in SaaS and/or enterprise software.
• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of service/user management from an IT perspective.
• Experience with APIs and authorization protocols (OAuth2, SAML/SSO, OpenID, etc.).
• Proficiency with a programming language (Python or NodeJS/JavaScript preferred).

Details

• Remote in the U.S., with west coast (preferred) or east coast.
• Willing to travel periodically based on customer and business needs.
