Sales Engineer

Overview

Sales Engineer role focused on driving new customer opportunities and integrating Cohesity products into customer environments.

What you'll do

• Provide sales and technical assistance to uncover and drive new customer opportunities.
• Help customers integrate Cohesity products into production environments.
• Develop and lead secondary storage technology strategy for large customers and partners.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals.
• Identify customer needs and craft proof of concepts.
• Support customers with project management and post-sales technical support.
• Collaborate with product management as a field representative.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of success in a customer-facing pre-sales role proposing enterprise solutions.
• Experience working with clients and technology partners.
• Experience selling and implementing enterprise hardware or software and related cloud/virtual infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to engage multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working remotely and autonomously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Must have English language proficiency for professional and specialized settings.

• Location: Boston Metro Area, Massachusetts, USA (Remote).
• Travel: willingness to travel as required by the role.
• In-office expectation: core offices 2–3 days a week for employees within a 45-minute commute.
