Enterprise Core Sales Engineer - Northeast

Overview

Enterprise Core Sales Engineer (Northeast) who supports senior sellers to grow and win enterprise customers and serves as a senior technical resource for the SE team.

What you'll do

• Support senior-level sellers to grow existing customers and win new customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and run live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
• Demonstrate the value of Samsara products and platform capabilities via on-site, remote webinars, or field events.
• Respond to functional and technical components of RFIs/RFPs.
• Share takeaways from customer/SE activities with the SE team via team meetings and messaging tools.
• Source and deliver product information, conduct testing of alpha products/features, and manage projects to improve SE processes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or customer/product support capacity.
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes and change management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, and business systems integration.
• Working knowledge of integration standards and transports including XML, REST, SOAP, and EDI, plus experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Be located within and authorized to work in the United States.

Details

• Remote position for candidates residing in the Northeast region of the United States (excluding San Francisco Bay metros, New York City metro, and Washington DC metro).
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Proximity to an international airport is preferred.
