Enterprise Core Sales Engineer - West

Overview

Enterprise Core Sales Engineer for the West region, acting as a senior technical resource who drives technical sales outcomes and supports SE Team enablement.

What you'll do

• Support senior-level sellers to grow existing customers and win new customers.
• Run product demonstrations and facilitate live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to help develop the platform.
• Share takeaways from technical sales activities with the SE Team via team meetings and messaging tools.
• Source and deliver product information, test alpha products/features, and manage projects.
• Provide SE Team enablement and contribute to internal communications channels.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or customer/product support capacity.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to focus on retiring quota.
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and knowledge of business processes and change management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of integration standards and transports including XML, REST, SOAP, and EDI.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs between SaaS applications.
• Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States.

Details

• Remote position open to candidates residing in the West region of the United States (excluding San Francisco Bay Metros, New York City Metro, and Washington DC Metro).
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• OTE (annual on-target earnings) range: USD 121,975–184,500.
