Enterprise Core Sales Engineer - Midwest

Overview

Enterprise Core Sales Engineer supporting senior enterprise sellers and contributing as a senior resource within the SE team. Own technical sales execution, demos/POCs, and activities like product sourcing, alpha testing, project management, and scaling SE enablement.

What you'll do

• Support senior-level sellers to grow existing customers or win new customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and run live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Work with Product Management and other teams to help develop the platform.
• Demonstrate the value proposition and core capabilities via on-site, webinars, or field events.
• Source and deliver product information, conduct testing of alpha product features, and manage related projects.
• Build process improvements and automation to scale the SE team; share takeaways across the team.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or customer/product support capacity (Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, etc.).
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes and change management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of concepts including technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, and business systems integration.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs between SaaS applications and familiarity with integration standards/transports (XML, REST, SOAP, EDI, etc.).
• Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States.

Details

• Remote position for candidates residing in the Midwest region of the United States, excluding San Francisco Bay Metros, New York City Metro, and Washington DC Metro.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; proximity to an international airport preferred.
