Facility Engineer

Overview

Facility Engineer responsible for managing facility operations, vendors, budgets, assets, maintenance documentation, emergency response, energy conservation, and HSE procedures.

What you'll do

• Oversee external vendors, contracts, pricing, SLAs, compliance, and performance.
• Manage facilities budgets, track expenses, and propose cost-saving measures and capital expenditures.
• Maintain facility asset inventories and coordinate workspace modifications, relocations, and renovations.
• Lead emergency response, risk assessments, drills, and coordination with response agencies.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records, procedures, spare-parts data, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Conduct HSE training, enforce PPE and safety protocols, and coordinate fire mock drills.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of facility maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Ability to manage vendors and negotiate contracts and service agreements.
• Ability to manage budgets and control operating costs.
• Ability to handle emergencies involving fire, accidents, equipment failure, or natural disasters.
• Ability to conduct workplace hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records.
