Facility Technical Executive

Overview

Support the Assistant Manager Engineering / Engineering Manager in managing the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing installations and all civil maintenance within the facility.

What you'll do

• Support the Assistant Manager Engineering / Engineering Manager in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations and all civil maintenance within the facility.
• Prepare a critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer's recommendations and plan inventory where maintenance is carried out with in-house teams.
• Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment.
• Assist the Chief Engineer to review the maintenance and service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M&E installations.
• Manage downtime and breakdowns.
• Arrange ad-hoc M&E set-ups as per client requirements from time to time.
• Ensure contractors follow house rules at all times and projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the client.
• Handle shifts independently on all engineering-related matters.
• Carry out a daily walk-around of the facility.
• Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts.
• Establish and adhere to policies and procedures and compliance deadlines for each task as advised by the Operation Manager.
• Manage the team effectively.
• Report daily on M&E to the Assistant Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager.
• Generate service maintenance reports on office equipment.
• Generate inventory and purchasing of spares and consumables.
• Generate downtime and breakdown incident reports.
