Federal Account Director, National Security

Overview

Federal Account Director (National Security) for OpenAI’s Government Sales team, focused on driving AI adoption for U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community customers.

What you'll do

• Manage a focused set of key U.S. Defense and Intelligence accounts with comprehensive account plans.
• Lead customers through AI adoption from consideration to successful deployment.
• Partner with solutions and research engineering to build and execute defense customer programs and projects.
• Own and manage a National Security Community consumption revenue target.
• Oversee revenue forecasting and reporting.
• Analyze account metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor the national security landscape to inform product roadmaps and strategies.

What you'll need

• 10+ years selling commercial technology (platform-as-a-service, software-as-a-service) to the National Security Community.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Experience designing and executing complex defense or national security deal strategies.
• Familiarity with government contracting, security clearances, and procurement processes.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance National Security environments.
• Ability to communicate technical and strategic concepts to national security customers and internal stakeholders.
