Account Director, Startups Expansion

Overview

Account Director for OpenAI’s Startups Go To Market team, owning relationships with strategically important startup customers and helping them build successfully on the OpenAI platform.

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of startup accounts and execute comprehensive account plans.
• Partner with solutions architects to drive successful technical engagements.
• Own a consumption revenue target and manage consumption revenue forecasts.
• Analyze account metrics and create reports with insights for stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with product, research, engineering, support, and solutions architecture.
• Advocate for improving the startup experience by synthesizing product feedback.
• Monitor the startup and industry landscape and contribute to corporate strategies.

What you'll need

• 8+ years selling platform-as-a-service, cloud, or other API products.
• Experience working in or around the startup ecosystem (founder, startup employee, or startup customer work).
• Experience supporting growth and product development of fast-growing, high-performance companies.
• Experience working directly with C-level executives and startup founders.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to gather, distill, and process complex market intelligence.
