Field Applications Engineer

Overview

Field Applications Engineer role supporting customer and supplier technical engagements with remote work in Oregon.

What you'll do

• Drive branch, supplier, and customer strategies through technical positioning and custom solution designs.
• Lead complex customer engagements to secure design wins and maximize ROI.
• Partner with sales teams for advanced technical consulting and alignment on design priorities.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers and participate in strategic meetings and QBRs.
• Use supplier line card and market/competitor knowledge to build ROI-driven business plans.
• Participate in supplier trainings and drive design services initiatives.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or related engineering degree.
• Design experience with at least one of: Onsemi, Infineon, Microchip, ST Micro Electronics, Tyco Electronics.
• Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and also in small teams.
• Strong communication skills.
