Field Sales Engineer, Eastern Canada

Overview

Field Sales Engineer for Eastern Canada, supporting Sales with technical solutions for pre-sales opportunities across Axis products.

What you'll do

• Provide pre-sales engineering and support.
• Prepare technical sales materials.
• Develop system design recommendations.
• Present demos and training seminars on-site and through webinars.
• Coordinate on-site visits, surveys, proof of concept, and trial installations.
• Perform in-depth on-site troubleshooting and solutions.
• Work with Regional Sales Managers and sales support as part of a cohesive team.

What you'll need

• Be fully bilingual in French and English (written and verbal).
• Have strong knowledge of physical security and IT markets.
• Have strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, transport protocols, switches, infrastructure, troubleshooting).
• Have mature, professional verbal and listening skills.
• Have proven positive customer interaction.
• Possess strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in relevant IT/networking/security fields and 3+ years’ industry experience in customer-facing systems design/engineering/project management/integration/development.

Details

• Must be based in Montreal, QC or surrounding area; remote candidates will not be considered.
• Travel within the assigned region up to 50% of the time.
