Field Service Engineer 1

Overview

Provide field service support for CT and MR equipment in the Northeast Ohio/Cleveland service region. Perform preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting and repairs while supporting installations and customer service.

What you'll do

• Complete preventive maintenance, field modifications and corrective repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair assigned equipment independently.
• Support experienced engineers with equipment installations and service repairs.
• Communicate with customers and follow up to resolve service issues.
• Manage service reports, parts orders, expenses and cycle times.
• Escalate issues and implement corrective action plans with regional and national support.
• Answer service calls independently within one year of employment.

What you'll need

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical, biomedical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Alternatively, two years of experience servicing electronic or electromechanical equipment with a high school diploma/GED.
• Experience with web applications and Microsoft products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 pounds unassisted.

• Technical capabilities with CT and/or MR equipment.

Details

• Remote role serving the Northeast Ohio/Cleveland, Ohio region.
• Five eight-hour shifts on second shift.
• Travel for training is required.
