Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at customer sites.

What you'll do

• Install, commission, and configure equipment per company and customer requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Repair and replace defective components and parts.
• Respond to service calls and customer support requests.
• Document maintenance records, repair reports, and service activities.
• Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers.

What you'll need

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Military Equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
• 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience (preferred).

Details

• Location: USA - Pennsylvania - Remote.
• Travel required: estimated 90%.
• Work includes flexible hours with occasional weekends and holidays.
