Overview

Field Service Engineer providing customer support for quality repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation start-up of Lam’s semiconductor equipment.

What you'll do

• Develop and provide solutions for quality repair, maintenance, and complete installation/relocation start-up at customer sites.
• Analyze and solve problems across Lam products down to the component level.
• Define and communicate problem statements and success criteria.
• Coordinate and run experiments/tests and generate reports.
• Act as a subject matter expert and represent Lam to customers.
• Own customer KPIs and lead improvements to meet agreed goals.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of work experience (or Master’s with 8+ years; or equivalent).
• Experience installing, maintaining, repairing, or troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipment.
• Proficiency interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Ability to work in a clean room with required protective safety equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, climb, stand).
• Ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally; flexibility for shifts, overtime, and on-call if needed.
