Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer (III) providing expert installation, maintenance, and repair services for analytical and microscopy equipment.

What you'll do

• Install sophisticated analytical and microscopy equipment at customer sites.
• Maintain and repair equipment and resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to support optimal system performance.
• Conduct diagnostics for hardware and software problems.
• Train users to ensure proper use of systems.
• Follow safety protocols and work in cleanroom environments when required.

What you'll need

• Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating analytical instruments.
• Technical expertise with ultra-high vacuum systems, high voltage electronics, and complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and networking.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25–50%.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory environments.
