Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer supporting security and detection customers through on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair activities, including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations affecting product performance.
• Respond to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned customer downtime.
• Deliver (not design) fully integrated solutions including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
• Serve as an internal technical resource and manage product escalations.
• Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to provide customer solutions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in physical science or engineering (or equivalent experience).
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar service technician, process engineer, or customer-facing field role.
• Ability to obtain and hold security clearance to access customer sites.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Must have a valid passport to access government sites.
• Be able to travel up to 75% overnight.

Details

• Work based in Denver, CO.
• 4–5 days per week in the field visiting customers.
• Option to work remotely.
• Full-time weekly schedule; day shift.
• Travel required: 75% of the time.
