Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer position based in Chennai, India with 100% field work supporting and servicing Nordson Matrix AXI for customers in the assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Support installation and service activities for Nordson Matrix AXI.
• Provide customer relationship management and customer service/application support.
• Perform troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment.
• Plan and schedule servicing work in advance to avoid factory output impact.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and field modifications.
• Maintain customer service logs, internal service records, and submit detailed daily reports.
• Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure proper calibration.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics preferred; Electrical or Instrumentation also considered).
• Diploma candidates may be eligible if experience is highly relevant.
• Around 0–3 years installing and providing customer support for high value capital equipment.
• At least 1 year of the above experience should be in Southern India.
• Ability to understand pneumatic, electric, electronics, and control systems.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to travel if required and willingness to learn new skills.
