Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer supporting customers through on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of scientific lab systems.

What you'll do

• Support on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems.
• Install and optimize hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may affect product performance.
• Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruptions.
• Train other field engineers and customers in solutions.

What you'll need

• Post-secondary degree in a science field (e.g., chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology) or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a laboratory environment working with spectroscopy.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience is essential.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to travel to visit customers with a 50% travel expectation.

• Must live in the Atlanta area.
• Territory covers Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
• Work mode: Remote (US-GA-Remote).
• Employment schedule: full time weekly schedule.
• Shift: Day.
• Travel required: 50% of the time.
