Field Service Engineer IC-LC-MS

Overview

Field Service Engineer II (IC-LC-MS) delivering on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for analytical instruments used in research, industrial, and healthcare settings.

What you'll do

• Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, qualification, and validation of IC-LC-MS instruments.
• Ensure branch activities are delivered with high efficiency.
• Support customer satisfaction through repair and service.
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and qualification jobs by priority.
• Maintain spare parts inventory, tools, manuals, and test equipment.
• Promote and sell installations, extended service contracts, and preventative maintenance services.

What you'll need

• Advanced degree with no prior experience or a bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of hands-on technical experience.
• Electronics/mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues down to component level.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and travel ability of up to 50–75% within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and service management software.
