Field Service Engineer ICP-MS, OES West Japan

Overview

Field Service Engineer supporting customers on-site with installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions (hardware, software, networking products and operating systems) for ICP-MS and OES equipment in West Japan.

What you'll do

• Install and optimize hardware, software and network products and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Perform maintenance and repair services.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance.
• Proactively respond to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.
• Deliver (not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.
• Serve as an internal resource on technical issues and manage product escalations.
• Collaborate with Agilent Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D teams to provide solutions to customers.
• May have knowledge of third-party products.
• May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for field engineers or customers.
• May train other field engineers or customers.
• May calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers.
• May qualify leads.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Post-graduate, certification and/or license may be required.
• Generally requires minimal to no prior relevant work experience.
• Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements to gain access to customer sites, which may include proof of identification, proof of certification to perform the required work, and customer health and safety requirements.

Details

• Location: Japan (remote).
• Full-time weekly schedule; day shift; no end date.
• Travel required: 35% of the time.
