Field Service Engineer - Pathology

Overview

Field Service Engineer - Pathology supports customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing Agilent Pathology and Genomics instruments across a defined territory.

What you'll do

• Provide on-site installation of Agilent pathology and genomics instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair services.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that affect performance.
• Respond proactively to potential equipment or software issues to prevent interruptions.
• Deliver integrated solutions (not design) involving peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
• Manage product escalations and collaborate with support, sales, marketing, and R&D teams.

What you'll need

• 1-2+ years of experience working with analytical instrumentation, ideally repair, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting.
• Experience or expertise with Pathology handling equipment, specifically IHC instrumentation.
• Familiarity with service standards of ISO 13485.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Details

• Territory includes Northern CA, covering southern CA, NV, UT, and the Pacific Northwest as needed.
• Overnight travel is 50% and could include weekend work and overtime.
• Position has a full-time weekly schedule and includes option to work remotely.
