Finance Director, MedTech Surgery India

Overview

Finance Director for J&J MedTech Surgery India, responsible for leading the India Surgery Finance function and supporting business strategy and performance.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the India Surgery Finance team of 7 professionals in Mumbai.
• Coordinate business planning and financial updates, including setting financial targets.
• Drive pricing and margin agendas and monitor execution against plans.
• Provide strategic and operational finance support, including financial performance analysis and risk/opportunity quantification.
• Oversee compliance and controls, delivering results in accordance with US GAAP and internal procedures.
• Manage budget, work plan, and short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts for India Surgery.

What you'll need

• Have 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including business-unit execution.
• Hold a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA) and/or MBA in Finance (preferred) plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrate business partnering, controllership, and FP&A capability.
• Show people leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrate strategic, analytical, and communication skills with influence over senior stakeholders.
• Have required skills including business acumen, financial acumen, people leadership, stakeholder partnerships, and strategic leadership.
