Finance Manager

Overview

Finance Manager / FP&A Lead to join the finance team and support US and UK operations in a hands-on role covering FP&A, reporting, accounting, and month/quarter-end close.

What you'll do

• Lead and support FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial performance analysis on trends and business drivers.
• Support scenario analysis and longer-term financial planning.
• Drive accurate and timely monthly and quarterly close across US and UK entities.
• Review financial results, investigate variances, and identify accounting/reporting issues.
• Support management and financial reporting preparation and review.
• Apply US GAAP and UK GAAP knowledge for technical accounting matters across multiple entities.

What you'll need

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Significant experience in finance/FP&A/financial reporting.
• Strong biotech or life sciences industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with UK GAAP.
• Experience with US/SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills with strong attention to detail.
