Finance Support Engineer

Overview

Support merchants and commercial teams with finance-related issues on Adyen’s payments and financial products platform. Advise merchant finance teams and collaborate with internal finance, product, account management, and development teams.

What you'll do

• Handle merchant and commercial-team queries about reconciliation, payouts, settlements, payments, and loan status.
• Communicate proactively and reactively with merchants in English by email and phone.
• Educate merchant finance teams on using Adyen’s products, features, and platform.
• Analyze merchant pain points and coordinate with finance product and development teams on improvements.
• Prioritize requests and make informed decisions under pressure.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of direct B2B customer-support experience.
• Exposure to banking, payments, or financial products.
• Strong finance and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Finance or Economics education or relevant work experience.
