Financial Accountant

Overview

Financial Accountant role focused on complex ledger, financial statement, and regulatory reporting work, with consultation to experienced leadership.

What you'll do

• Provide consultation to experienced leadership on financial accounting matters.
• Maintain ledger accounts and develop financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Gather, review, and verify financial data from general ledger and financial systems.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications.
• Perform financial control functions in line with internal control policies.
• Support compliance and risk management requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting, or Risk Reporting experience.
• Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA-Finance (desired) with 2+ years of Finance and Accounting experience.
• Experience preparing regulatory returns for a financial services organization (desired).
• Knowledge of NextGen tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Confluence, Workiva (listed under Job Expectations).
• Ability to work independently within a team structure (self-motivated).
• Strong communication skills to present concisely to senior audiences.
