Financial Analyst

Overview

Financial Analyst to support financial management through analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and variance research to plans, informing key stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Extract data, diagnose financial drivers, and use analytics to recommend actions to stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis for functions/business units and address financial business issues.
• Provide inputs for monthly expense and capital reviews and analyze variances with operational analytics.
• Interpret financial reports including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow documents.
• Support close the books, analyze variances and trends, and develop financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies for internal and external reporting.

What you'll need

• Four-year degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 1-2 years of work experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing.
• Experience with financial analysis and financial modeling.
• Understanding of financial planning and financial statements.
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Skills in variance analysis.
