Manager I, R&D FP&A Supplies

Overview

The Manager, R&D Finance drives financial performance for manufacturing R&D through budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and performance analysis. The role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize costs, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.

What you'll do

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and periodic projection cycles end-to-end.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities for the manufacturing site.
• Perform monthly/quarterly manufacturing variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Execute special projects and ad-hoc analysis to support effective outcomes.
• Identify automation opportunities across month-end close, reporting, and forecasting.
• Review product-level BOM and routing data during budgeting for standard cost development.
• Prepare and maintain SOX control documentation and support audit requests.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience is required in an R&D Finance FP&A capacity (preferred).
• Experience leading month-end and quarter-end close activities for manufacturing financial reporting.
• Ability to run and interpret manufacturing variance analysis (PPV, usage, efficiency, volume, spend).
• Skill in preparing financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Experience analyzing inventory reserves and drivers (e.g., excess, obsolete, slow-moving).
• Ability to prepare and maintain SOX control documentation and support internal/external audit requests.
• Competence in process standardization, governance frameworks, and KPI definition/monitoring.

Details

• Based in Hyderabad location, expected 50% in-person, with minimal travel expected.
