Overview
Senior Manager I, Japan FP&A is a high-calibre FP&A country lead responsible for end-to-end FP&A consolidation, performance management, financial storytelling, and business partnering.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end FP&A consolidation and performance management for assigned markets.
- Guide monthly and quarterly performance reviews and performance analyses beyond variance reports.
- Review and challenge performance narratives before they reach market Finance Directors and country finance leadership.
- Coordinate the country budget cycle and track the consolidated timeline.
- Support development of consolidated business plans reflecting commercial context and assumptions.
- Set and maintain quality standards and support process efficiency improvements across workflows.
What you'll need
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience.
- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Expertise across the full P&L from revenue through operating profit.
- Ability to translate complex multi-market financial dynamics into actionable stories for business leaders.
- People management capability across performance feedback, developmental feedback, and performance management.
- Ability to actively use and advocate for AI and automation tools in the team’s work.
Details
- Based in Hyderabad with an expected 50% in-person attendance and minimal travel expected.
- Manages a direct team of 2-3 team members.
