Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview

Build and operate production-ready conversational AI agents for enterprise customers across industries including financial services, healthcare, and commerce. Own projects from pilot through launch and ongoing refinement while informing platform and product direction.

What you'll do

• Develop agentic systems for large-scale companies.
• Build agents for integrated customer interaction use cases.
• Design reusable agent frameworks for different industries.
• Drive design partnerships around agent architectures and self-service features.
• Integrate emerging voice models into enterprise deployments.
• Define how AI agents are constructed, evaluated, and improved in production.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience building and operating end-to-end production systems at scale.
• Technical problem-solving ability in ambiguous environments.
• Working knowledge of AI agent evaluation frameworks, orchestration tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Ability to work directly with customers to understand problems and deliver solutions.
• Clear communication with engineers and executives.
• Ability to balance priorities and align technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• Experience developing or operating AI/LLM-powered systems in production.
• Startup founder or early engineer experience.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, or Go.
• Prior customer-facing or externally led technical experience.
