Founding Product Engineer (YC experience)

Overview

Founding Product Engineer for a remote, full-time role building production product capabilities from concept through deployment.

What you'll do

• Build new product capabilities from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Product and customers to identify high-value problems.
• Develop full-stack features across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Prototype and validate product ideas quickly.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture through deployment.
• Iterate using customer feedback to improve product reliability.
• Contribute to product and technical strategy.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack product engineering background.
• Experience building products from early-stage concepts.
• Strong product sense and customer empathy.
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining engineering quality.
• Strong communication and ownership.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• AI/ML product experience.
• Startup or scale-up experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, or similar.
• Experience building 0→1 products.

Details

• Location: United States (Remote).
• Compensation: $200,000–$350,000 USD.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Employment type: Full-time.
