Freight Brokerage Specialist

Overview

Freight Brokerage Specialist supporting freight brokerage operations by coordinating shipments and communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Coordinate daily shipment and load activities from pickup through delivery.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to execute shipments on time.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively flag potential delays or exceptions.
• Follow up with transportation partners for pickup, delivery, and status updates.
• Maintain accurate shipment and load information in TMS systems and tracking tools.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues such as delays, missed appointments, and documentation gaps.

What you'll need

• 2-6 years of experience.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good typing proficiency with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other operational systems.
• Good understanding of shipment/order lifecycle.
