Overview
Front-End Integration Engineer for NVIDIA’s NIC Silicon group, focused on building and implementing networking Network Adapter Silicon chips and related EDA/CI flows.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for front-end build areas.
- Monitor, complete, and fix daily and nightly CI flows covering lint, synthesis, equivalence checking, and simulation.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using Python, Tcl, and Shell to integrate EDA tools into pipelines.
- Manage Perforce integration including multi-IP branch/stream strategies, workspace specs, build drops, and release labels/tags.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for RTL and verification engineers to debug flow crashes, bottlenecks, environment setup, and CI failures.
- Implement automated quality gates using check-in and change list triggers.
- Monitor LSF compute farm resources and storage usage to improve pipeline runtime and execution efficiency.
What you'll need
- 2+ years hands-on experience in ASIC/SoC front-end integration, CAD, or EDA flow automation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Perforce (P4 / Helix Core) streams, workspace specs, changelists, and labels.
- Proficiency in Python, Tcl, and Bash/Shell scripting for flow development and automation.
- Practical front-end ASIC tools familiarity (e.g., SpyGlass, Build Compiler, or Xcelium).
- Strong diagnostic and fixing skills to resolve build and flow issues under deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience writing custom P4 Python scripts and/or pre-submit/post-submit triggers.
- Proven experience building automated regression reporting tools, notifications, or dashboards for pipeline health and coverage.
- Verification experience is a plus.
