Fullstack Engineer (Frontend Leaning) - Studio

Overview

Build tools that make Studio a video editor people want to live in, including transitions, color grading, elements libraries and presets on top of the in-house engine. This product-minded, frontend-leaning full-stack role combines greenfield features with polishing the existing editor.

What you'll do

• Build transitions, color grading and elements libraries on top of the in-house engine.
• Build presets so users can get the effect they want without tweaking 20 individual controls.
• Develop greenfield features and polish the existing editor.
• Enable editors coming from Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro to rebind their keyboard shortcuts in one step.
• Write proposals and get fast feedback.
• Own features through launch, including the marketing moment.

What you'll need

• Be a strong frontend engineer who has built complex, interactive UIs.
• Have enough full-stack ability to work across the stack, but deep backend expertise isn’t needed.
• Show evidence of product responsibility through side projects, open source, or product-facing work.
• Thrive in a fast-moving, startup-style environment and take ownership with minimal hand-holding.
