Fullstack UX/UI Researchers/Designer - Applied & Agentic AI Systems

Overview

Senior Fullstack UX/UI Researcher & Designer for Roche’s Applied AI function, combining user research and high-fidelity UI design to address friction from non-deterministic AI outputs.

What you'll do

• Conduct user research to develop personas and optimize interfaces for user needs.
• Engage with end-users to understand workflows and translate needs into design concepts.
• Run usability tests and iterate designs based on user feedback.
• Design and test complex workflows and conversational interactions with dynamic AI outputs.
• Create conversational, responsive UI experiences that handle unpredictable data and real-time LLM streams.
• Develop visualizations for AI model outputs to help users understand and interact with complex information.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of UX/UI design mastery with evolution into AI-driven and agentic systems.
• 3–5+ years of dedicated, hands-on user research/usability testing/product design research experience owning projects end-to-end.
• Experience designing interfaces incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs) and classical machine learning.
• Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Figma for wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes and gather user feedback through testing.
