Graduate Consultant - Geoenvironmental UK

Overview

Graduate Consultant in Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical work supporting UK Operations, focused on environmental site assessment and ground investigation data.

What you'll do

• Assist with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment report preparation.
• Collate, review, and tabulate environmental, geological, hydrogeological, and geotechnical data.
• Process and present intrusive site investigation records (e.g., borehole logs, laboratory data, field observations).
• Prepare figures/drawings/plans and basic spatial outputs using GIS/CAD tools.
• Contribute to report writing, data interpretation, technical notes, schedules, charts, and documentation.
• Maintain project records, data management systems, task trackers, and quality documentation.

What you'll need

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science/engineering, civil engineering, hydrogeology, or a related discipline.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for clear technical presentations.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail for working with large datasets.
• Basic understanding of environmental site assessment and/or ground investigation techniques, soil and groundwater data, or geotechnical principles.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel; interest in data management, GIS, CAD, Power BI, or digital tools is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks to agreed deadlines.
