Hardware Board Design Engineer, Senior

Overview

Senior Hardware Board Design Engineer responsible for designing, reviewing, and debugging digital PCB designs, breakout boards, and test platforms for high-speed systems.

What you'll do

• Design, review, and debug digital PCB designs, breakout boards, and test platforms using industry-standard CAD tools.
• Perform board-level bring-up, debugging, and failure analysis for high-speed digital systems and interfaces.
• Drive Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis using simulation tools.
• Characterize and validate high-speed digital channels using measurements such as S-parameters and eye diagrams.
• Support design, validation, and debug of high-speed interfaces including PCIe, CSI, USB, and PAM-based links.
• Execute lab-based validation and debug using VNA, DSO, and logic analyzers.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience (with a bachelor’s degree) OR 1+ year (with a master’s degree) OR a PhD in a relevant field.
• Electronics/engineering fundamentals and PCB manufacturing knowledge for board design, bring-up, validation, and issue resolution.
• Experience with SI/PI analysis and simulation tools including HFSS, ADS, and PowerSI.
• Ability to validate high-speed channels using S-parameters, TDR, eye diagrams, jitter, isolation, and crosstalk.
• Use lab instruments including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO), and Logic Analyzers.
