Signal Integrity Engineer

Overview

Signal Integrity Engineer role focused on delivering system-level signal integrity solutions for high-speed hardware systems, boards, and packages.

What you'll do

• Contribute to a centralized SI team supporting next-generation technologies.
• Own signal integrity design from feasibility through product validation.
• Develop SI rules, build design guides/checklists, and review implementation.
• Create test plans and document characterization/measurement reports.
• Improve design margins using interconnect, timing, crosstalk analysis and 3D EM/channel simulations.
• Design and characterize test structures and channel models to correlate simulations and measurements.
• Provide timely SI assessments and progress updates to SI management.

What you'll need

• Require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Need the ability to contribute independently and in a matrixed, geographically spread environment.
• Require strong problem solving plus board & system-level lab bringup, debugging, and characterization skills.
• Need excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting concepts and updates.
• Require knowledge of electromagnetics/transmission line concepts and related SI topics.
• Require familiarity with PCB stackup design and trade-offs in line geometries, materials, and surface finishes.
• Need experience with lab equipment and simulation/analysis tools listed in the posting.

• Onsite role primarily working from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
