Head Digital Manufacturing Engineering Design

Overview

Lead the Digital Manufacturing function within the GCC and provide global expertise for digital transformation across pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop Digital Manufacturing design leads and subject matter experts.
• Build capability across Manufacturing Systems, OT Integration, Data & Analytics, and Pharma 4.0.
• Drive digital engineering, smart manufacturing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure solutions align with GMP, data integrity, cybersecurity, regulatory, sustainability, and business requirements.
• Lead technical reviews, governance activities, risk assessments, and inspection-readiness initiatives.
• Promote AI, advanced analytics, digital twins, connected manufacturing, and smart factory capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, OT, Quality, and site stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience in Digital Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems, OT, Industrial Automation, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Automation, Digital Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, plasma, or other regulated industries.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical organizations and capability-building initiatives.
• Experience with manufacturing digitalization, smart manufacturing, or Pharma 4.0 programs.
• Experience with GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of MES, EBR, OT architecture, data platforms, analytics, AI, cybersecurity, GAMP5, and CFR Part 11.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
