Head of Talent Acquisition, India

Overview

Lead the execution, management and overall performance of experienced hire recruitment in India, personally handling senior and specialized roles and managing local recruiters across FTE, contractor, consultant and RPO resources.

What you'll do

• Lead all recruitment efforts in India, inclusive of RPO employees, contractors and FTEs.
• Provide oversight to India recruitment team(s), ensuring operational excellence, compliance with process and policies, and execution of day-to-day recruiter activities.
• Serve as subject matter expert on Financial Services, GCCs and MNCs located in India.
• Focus on short, medium and long-term solutions for the team, including driving TA strategy for India within Group TA guard-rails.
• Be responsible for the full life cycle of experienced hire recruitment across the TD footprint in India.
• Undertake and complete a variety of projects and initiatives, which may include integrating cross-functional processes.
• Maintain standard training and certification (where appropriate) for all recruiters on the team.
• Partner with recruitment leads globally to integrate and drive growth for the Indian TA function.
• Train and support recruiters (RPO, contractors and FTEs) and act as team leader.
• Work closely with HR business partners, TD USA leadership globally, TA partners globally and business stakeholders.
• Champion Inclusion and Diversity recruitment for India.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate degree.
• 10-15 years of related experience, either all in-house or a mix of in-house and agency/RPO experience.
• Demonstrated exceptional team leadership skills, both in person and remotely (across border preferred), inclusive of managing RPOs and FTEs.
• Highly detail oriented, with experience in analyzing, parsing and presenting data.
• Demonstrated interest and expertise in the evolution of the recruitment discipline, inclusive of technology, data, AI and regulatory governance.
• Demonstrated experience in capturing data and creating/analyzing meaningful reports.
• Extensive knowledge of recruiting and employment practices.
• Knowledge of employment laws across the TD footprint and specific deep subject matter expertise for the India market.
• Proven ability to develop optimal relationships with senior and executive stakeholders across borders.
• Strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain business partnerships.
• Deep expertise (expert!) in recruiting for senior, specialist and executive level roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and assignments using sound business judgment.
