Health Product Manager, Claims

Overview

Health Product Manager for Claims, owning the product vision and strategy for XO Health’s claims processing platform in India (Remote).

What you'll do

• Define and own product vision and strategy for the claims processing platform.
• Build and maintain the claims platform product roadmap, sequencing adjudication logic and related capabilities.
• Set timeline goals and milestones, balancing urgency, feasibility, and cross-team dependencies.
• Translate claims operations, EDI, and payer requirements into detailed business requirements and user stories.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering through design, development, testing, and launch.
• Own acceptance criteria and participate in UAT to validate delivered functionality.
• Track success metrics (accuracy, turnaround time, auto-adjudication rate, denial/appeal volume) and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of product management experience owning roadmap and strategy from discovery through launch.
• Experience in US healthcare, health insurance, claims operations, or employee benefits with claims lifecycle knowledge.
• Ability to draft clear, detailed business requirements and user stories and serve as a business-to-technical liaison.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills to translate complex operational rules into product requirements.
• Experience managing product backlog and roadmap, prioritizing features/fixes, and communicating tradeoffs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where tools/processes are still being built.
