Overview
South Star Software is seeking an HR Executive / Senior HR Executive to manage talent acquisition as the primary responsibility while supporting HR operations and employee lifecycle management in the Human Resources department.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions across various business functions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, role expectations, and hiring priorities.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, social media, recruitment agencies, and networking platforms.
- Screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, and evaluate candidates for cultural and technical fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules, collect interviewer feedback, and ensure timely closure of positions.
- Manage salary negotiations, offer discussions, and offer rollouts in line with company guidelines.
- Ensure smooth pre-boarding and onboarding of new hires.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Drive employee referral programs and other recruitment initiatives.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, hiring dashboards, and MIS reports.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as Time-to-Hire, Offer Acceptance Ratio, Joining Ratio, Cost-per-Hire, and Source Effectiveness.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives, job fairs, campus recruitment, and networking events.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
- Coordinate pre-joining documentation, background verification, and joining formalities.
- Conduct employee induction and orientation programs for new hires.
- Maintain employee records, personal files, HR documentation, and HRMS data with accuracy.
- Generate appointment, confirmation, transfer, promotion, experience, and relieving letters.
- Coordinate attendance, leave management, and employee data updates in the HRMS.
- Support probation reviews, confirmation processes, and employee documentation.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, HR events, wellness programs, and Rewards & Recognition activities.
- Address employee queries related to HR policies, attendance, leave, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Support employee grievance handling and foster positive employee relations.
- Coordinate exit interviews, clearance processes, and Full & Final settlement documentation.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards related to headcount, attrition, recruitment, onboarding, and employee movements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR processes, and statutory documentation requirements.
- Support internal and external HR audits by maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate learning and development activities, training nominations, and training records.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance employee experience through automation and process improvements.
What you'll need
- 4–6 years of HR experience in the IT industry with significant exposure to Talent Acquisition.
- Strong understanding of IT recruitment and hiring methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri and other recruitment tools.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRMS platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in IT Services or Product-based organizations.
- Exposure to HR analytics, recruitment dashboards, and employer branding initiatives.
