HR Generalist

Overview

HR Generalist role responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, compliance support, and engagement activities.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Conduct onboarding sessions and support employee induction.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
• Maintain and update employee records in HRMS and physical files, and support payroll inputs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies and assist with statutory audits.
• Coordinate training schedules and support performance appraisal documentation.

What you'll need

• 3-7 years of experience in generalist HR functions.
• Qualification for Welfare Officer as per the Factory Act, 1948.
• Understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
