ICM Credit Risk Analyst – Financial Institutions

Overview

ICM Credit Risk Analyst – Financial Institutions supports credit risk management for a portfolio of Financial Institution relationships within Institutional Credit Management (ICM).

What you'll do

• Perform fundamental credit analysis of Financial Institution counterparties.
• Prepare Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and other credit approval memoranda.
• Support Obligor Risk Ratings assessment using Citi’s credit risk framework.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring to identify emerging risks and rating triggers.
• Analyze financial statements, regulatory filings, earnings releases, and market developments.
• Escalate potential credit concerns to senior team members in a timely manner.
• Partner with 1LoD and 2LoD stakeholders for credit assessments and monitoring inputs.

What you'll need

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Credit Risk, Financial Analysis, Audit, or related roles.
• Understanding of financial statement and ratio analysis and credit risk fundamentals.
• Experience preparing presentations, financial analyses, and credit documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written/verbal communication, and attention to detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
