Credit Risk Analyst

Overview

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will investigate merchant credit/fraud risk, make real-time decisions, and help reduce fraud and credit losses.

What you’ll do

• Identify, mitigate, and eliminate fraud and credit losses through investigations.
• Make real-time decisions on situations requiring deeper investigation.
• Review and investigate merchant accounts for fraud and credit risk exposure.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and fraud remediation with internal teams.
• Communicate with internal and external partners on high-risk activity and actions.
• Negotiate collateral requirements and restructuring terms as required.
• Resolve merchant inquiries via scheduled calls and complete assigned special projects.

What you’ll need

• Have a 2-year degree with prior work experience.
• Have 2 years prior customer service experience or 1 year fraud & risk experience.
• Use programs such as Excel & Word.
• Be able to multitask.
• Be detailed and organized.
• Be able to meet deadlines (including possible weekends/holidays).
• Read and interpret documents and calculate figures/amounts (e.g., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages).
