Information Systems Engineer

Overview

Information Systems Engineer responsible for installing and supporting Intuitive’s digital solutions, ensuring service agreements and warranty obligations are met, and providing remote customer support.

What you'll do

• Verify remote connections and install digital systems.
• Perform on-premise and cloud-based digital product installations and configure servers, networks, and services.
• Support physical system installations when needed and activate digital features for da Vinci® systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair digital product and associated equipment failures.
• Conduct maintenance inspections and perform upgrades/updates to meet performance specifications.
• Provide remote support to Intuitive Field Engineers and maintain accurate installed-base configurations and documentation.
• Maintain warranty/service agreement fulfillment by addressing reported issues promptly.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of field service experience with medical systems preferred.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting medical software systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and the language spoken in Italy or Spain (ideally both).
• Working knowledge of Windows operating system and server system administrator concepts.
• Ability to professionally install and wire PC hardware in multiple configurations.
• Administrative and record keeping skills.
• Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging skills and ability to work independently from remote.

Details

• Location focus: Italy or Spain with a remote setup, and support for other markets as needed.
• Travel up to 25% and some short-notice travel may be required.
• Ability to enter surgical and other patient care areas.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
