Infrastructure Ops Engineer I

Overview

Infrastructure Ops Engineer I monitors alerts, troubleshoots issues, and performs system administration tasks to ensure uptime and performance.

What you'll do

• Actively monitor alerts coming from all platforms.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Perform system administration tasks including user management, file system management, and backup/restore.
• Assist in implementing system upgrades and patches using best practices and change management.
• Create bridge calls with stakeholders to drive root-cause analysis (RCA) and permanent solutions.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Monitoring Analyst in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Good working knowledge of UNIX, Windows, and database technologies.
• Strong understanding of alert management and monitoring tools.
• Experience with terminal management and file processing.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, ITIL, or ITSM (added advantage).

Details

• This is a full-time position.
• Work is required 5 days a week from the Mumbai office.
• Rotational shifts are required, supporting 24x7 operations.
