Overview

Instrumentation and Electrical Facility Engineer supporting Facility Engineering in Bengaluru, providing instrumentation, controls, and electrical design support for Refining and LNG assets.

What you'll do

• Provide instrumentation, controls, and electrical engineering support for process units in complex facilities.
• Manage changes for instrumentation, controls, and electrical design packages.
• Design, troubleshoot, analyze, and support installation of distributed control systems, SIS, analyzers, and electrical power distribution.
• Provide active remote technical support to scope repairs and troubleshoot issues in process plants.
• Support implementation of solutions via routine maintenance, turnaround execution, and projects.
• Guide technical inquiries with recommendations, troubleshooting, and improvements to I&E engineering tools and processes.
• Provide engineering analysis/consultation and project management for small I&E capital projects.

What you'll need

• 8 years minimum experience, including 3 years site-based facility experience in a brownfield environment as an I&E Engineer supporting operations.
• Experience supporting a complex refinery, LNG facility, or similar petrochemical environment.
• B.E./B.Tech. degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university.
• Knowledge of instrument and electrical design codes/standards and safety instrumented systems.

Details

• Reporting to the Team Lead.
• Based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru, India.
• Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Work hours are aligned to business needs and may evolve based on operational requirements.
